2021 Reel Highlight – 2049 Portal

For this project I was inspired by the style of Blade Runner 2049 and wanted to pay homage. The environment was loosely based on reference photos. The storm cloud portal formation was inspired by War Of The Worlds. So I guess you could say it’s a mashup of sorts. All work was done in Houdini, Redshift, and DaVinci Resolve/Fusion Studio.
